Sisè Certamen literari, celebrat el 28 de juny de 1959, en ocasió del centenari de l'entitat. Es van presentar 433 obres i va presidir el jurat Francesc Recasens i Mercadé, Enric Aguadé i Parés en va ser vicepresident i els vocals van ser Mn. Josep Llauradó, Domènec Freixa, Bonaentura Vallespinosa, Josep Blanch Massó, Lluïsa Òdena, Auguts Mercedé, Gerard Ricart, Carles Giró. El secretari va ser F. Font de Rubinat Santasusagna.
