En ell informa que a causa de la mort de l'impulsor d'aquest projecte, Lluís Quer, la construcció del teatre ja no es tirarà endavant. Per aquesta raó demana a l'Ajuntament una subvenció anual de 1500 pessetes per poder mantenir el Centre de Lectura.
